30 blankets, completed and donated, by December 31, 2025.

Blankets may be knit, crocheted, quilts, or no-sew fleece [All blankets need to be new, not previously used.]

We are going to gather to make blankets at Family Room Coffee & Bake Shop (Westerville, OH) once a month. If you live in the area, you are welcome to join us! We will have supplies to make no sew blankets or you can bring your knitting & crochet supplies with you to craft along with us. Click here for more information on materials & sizing.

If you aren’t available to join us, that’s okay. You can craft on your own and bring your completed blankets to the next session (or contact Pastor Rebecca to make different arrangements).

My Very Own Blanket has been connecting with local organizations to provide blankets for children & teenagers in the foster care system since 1999. They started with a goal of 12 blankets and received over 37,000 blankets in 2024.
